I want to express my gratitude for all your help last week. Your providing of [a room] was so generous. You have no idea how much easier it was to be right there so I could help Chad move, resettled and deal with [the issue]. I think he was also comforted knowing I was close (although he would never admit it!). I was also impressed at how helpful the staff was, and how quickly and smoothly I was able to get him moved. I think the room changed was essential in helping him move forward through this awful [personal] experience. We had already scheduled a trip to Florida in late February before all of this happened, so I will be there to check on him in a few weeks. I’ll stop by the office to say hi while we are there. So everyone is going to a university and they don’t have to worry about food, utilities, electricity, etc. But me? I have to attend SCC and sure it’s great and all, but not knowing where to board is scary. I was overwhelmed with apartment guides, roommates and monthly rest. I was thinking of sitting first semester out to assess my boarding issue and save up in case I had to pool money for rent. Then I thought, “There must be off-campus room/board for people attending Seminole College.” So I did a search. And up popped your company. And it was like a fresh breath of air. Suddenly I started rethinking my plans and saying to myself, “Yes! I can go first semester!”…
