How to Reserve Housing at CVI...

• Apply online and submit your $175 Reservation Fee & First Month’s Room & Board (R&B) by credit card.
• A Housing Contract Packet will be e-mailed to the address you provide on your application.  The Housing Contract Packet includes:
  • Welcome Letter with Instructions
  • 2 page Housing Contract
  • Payment Schedule && Invoice
  • Roommate Preference Sheet (double occupancy only)
• You will return your 2 page Housing Contract and Roommate Preference Sheet (if applicable) by fax by the due date provided on your welcome letter.
• If you are paying in Advance or by Semester you will have a payment due when you return your contract by fax. You may either fax a copy of the check you will mail or call us with a credit card.
• After your Housing Contract and Payment (if applicable) are received, you will receive an e-mail with a Housing Confirmation e-mail. Your Confirmation e-mail will include:
  • Confirmation Letter
  • Check In Information & Times
  • Info on how to receive your mail & packages at CVI
  • Info on What will be in you rroom & What you might want to bring with you
  • Terms & Conditions of CVI internet service
  • Helpful Information to assist you with your move

CVI Payment Options & Terms...

ADVANCE PAYMENT OPTION

8% OFF - ADVANCE PAYMENT – This option is most commonly used to pay for room and board at CVI. It allows you to SAVE EIGHT PERCENT on housing and can be combined with other discount offers through CVI for maximum savings.

PAYMENT TERMS FOR ADVANCE PAYMENT

• First month's R&B due when you apply with Reservation Fee
• Balance due back with your Housing Contract

SEMESTER PAYMENT OPTION

4% OFF – SEMESTER PAYMENTS – This option is a good idea if you do not have the money on hand to pay for your entire contract up front, but you do have the money to pay for half of your contract up front to SAVE FOUR PERCENT. Many students use this option if they have the money on hand to pay and are also receiving Financial Aid. You can pay out of pocket when you sign up to SAVE the 4%, then reimburse yourself (or your parents) when your Financial Aid comes through. This option can be combined with other discount offers through CVI. Minimum Contract Term to use this plan is 7 months.

PAYMENT TERMS FOR SEMESTER PAYMENT

• First Month's R&B due when you apply with Reservation Fee
• Balance for first half of your contract due back with your Housing Contract
• Balance for second half of your stay due 3 months after your Contract Start Date

FINANCIAL AID OPTION

2% OFF – FINANCIAL AID PAYMENTS– This option is ONLY for students who have Financial Aid (FA) secured and approved and can provide CVI with proof of the scheduled disbursements when you apply. You can change from the Installment plan to the FA Payment Plan at any time. If you do not have your Financial Aid approved & secured when you apply, you can choose the Installment Plan and then change to the FA plan before or after you move in and still receive the 2% OFF. FA Award letter & Financial Aid Deferment Agreement must be submitted separately from application by e-mail as attachments or by fax to 407.380.8701. If proof is not received, your application will be processed for Monthly Payments. This option can be combined with other discount offers through CVI. Minimum Contract Term to use this plan is 7 months.

PAYMENT TERMS FOR FINANCIAL AID PAYMENTS

• First Month’s R&B due when you apply with Reservation Fee
• Last Month’s R&B due on the day you move in
• Balance for the first half of your stay less First Month’s R&B due when you receive your 1st FA disbursement (Sept. 30th for Fall –or- Jan. 31st for Spring)
• Balance of your contract due when you receive your 2nd FA disbursement

MONTHLY INSTALLMENT OPTION

MONTHLY PAYMENTS – This option allows you pay your R&B on a monthly installment schedule.

PAYMENT TERMS FOR MONTHLY PAYMENTS

• First Month's R&B due when you apply with Reservation Fee
• Last Month's R&B due on the day you move in
• Remaining Payments are due on the 1st day of each month after the month your contract starts. Monthly payments are late on the 3rd of the month

IMPORTANT PAYMENT PLAN NOTES: A complete Payment Schedule reflecting all applicable discounts will be provided to you with your Housing Contract packet. All payments are due according to the schedule provided. Discounts will not be honored if you downgrade your Payment Plan after contract start date (ex. Advance to Installment). If payment plan is upgraded AFTER contract start date discount will be prorated. All Payment Plans can be used in addition to any other discount offers applicable at the time you apply as long as a valid OFFER CODE is provided on the application. CVI reserves the right to change your payment plan to Installment at any time if you do not pay according to the payment terms listed for the plan you choose.
