Food Services

Whether it in between classes or for Sunday morning brunch, you can relax and enjoy delicious home-style meals in The CVI Café, located right outside your door!

Our experienced food service team is dedicated to providing delicious foods using the freshest seasonal ingredients. We serve meals cooked to preserve the integrity of our proven recipes and provide nutritional balance. We provide you with a quality product with excellent service and a clean and comfortable atmosphere to dine in.

Housekeeping Services

Once each week, your room will be cleaned by a housekeeper. The cleaning includes vacuuming, windows and mirrors, and most importantly, your bathroom! They will leave toilet paper and trash bags and take out your trash with each service.

 

Local Phone Service

Each room at CVI has its own phone number and private voicemail. Local phone service and private voicemail are included in your CVI package. A PIN will give you access to make long distance calls within the United States for 10 cents per minute and international calls for $3.50 per minute.

 

High Speed Internet Service

High Speed Internet is included in your CVI package. We provide you with a cable modem for access to CVI’s network.

There are computers in the lobby that can be used 24 hours a day.

 

Mail Service

Whether you decide on a private or semi-private room, you will have a personal mailbox and key. Your mail is available in the CVI mailroom between the hours of 8 AM and midnight.

 

UCF Shuttle

The UCF shuttle (provided by UCF) allows students to avoid the parking madness on campus and relax on their way to classes. The UCF Shuttle that comes to CVI drops students off at the Transit Center on campus which allows a short distance to travel to most classroom destinations. UCF’s parking services website has more information on the UCF Shuttle.

 

Full Sail Shuttle

The CVI Full Sail Shuttle provides transportation to and from Full Sail 8 times per day.

As you probably already know, Full Sail class schedules are very demanding, so we have shuttle trips to Full Sail throughout the entire day, even in the wee hours of the morning!

We will drop you off or pick you up and save you the trouble of battling traffic, finding parking, and spending $$$$ on gas!

Amenities

CVI has a Volleyball Court & Swimming Pool in the courtyard along with a game room with a Pool Table in it, and a weight room with Hammer Strength equipment.

 

Laundry Facilities

The CVI Laundry Room has 7 Credit/Debit Card operated washing machines and 14 dryers or you can buy a card at the Front Desk for $5 and use as a debit card system. They are $1.25 washing and drying. The Laundry Room is open from 8 am to midnight.

 

Parking

It’s FREE & There is plenty of it!

You will receive a parking sticker for your window when you move in. And at CVI, You won’t have to worry about your friends getting towed! If you will have a guest overnight, they can pick up a temporary parking pass at the front desk.

 

Roommate Matching

We are super effective at matching roommates!

We match you based on the answers to the questions below:

Studying, Socializing, Sleeping, Cleanliness, What types of music do you listen to?, Do you Smoke?, Do you Drink?, Size of your town?, College you will attend?, Major?, Minor?, What year in colege is this for you?, Are you currently in or will you pledge a Fraternity or Sorority?

We also allow you to list any clubs, special interests or activities you are involved in.

If you already know who you want your roommate to be, there is a section on the application to fill in your friend’s name.

It is a top priority to honor your requests, however we cannot guarantee all requests will be met.

If you do not request a specific roommate, you will meet your roommate when you move in. To help ensure the best match possible, we consider every applicant up to your move in date.

If for some reason that is not the case we will be happy to assist you with a room change. We do not charge to make the change. Just as to speak to a Resident Manager at the front desk.
